Here are a pair of my favourites from The Diamond Life promo shoot I did with my friend Ana. She’s working on a web series about emerging artists and I was luck enough to be one of her subjects. Check out a few posts ago to see my episode.

Yesterday afternoon I had a few shoots with my friend Ana. We were shooting some new head shots and a few promos for her web series called The Diamond Life. Below is an outtake from the head shot shoot, promos will be up in a minute.

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing an old friend of mine, Dan Walker. I’ve known Dan since grade 7 when his primary school merged with mine. Dan’s one of those guys that you’re just instantly friends with. Through out high school he and I both played drums in the school bands, he unlike I stuck with it and now Dan is a very accomplished drummer. We shot some promos for his Dan Walker Drums site. These are a few of my favourites.

I was recently introduced to an incredibly talented woman named Ana Alic. She’s out there really making things happen for herself, which is something I know all too much about. When she approached me to be the subject of an episode of her new web series titled “The Diamond Life” I jumped at the chance. My friend Trevor Walroth shot and cut the episode. I’ve enabled both parts below, take a looky-lou and let me know what you think? Just to be clear, I’m not the pretty blonde.

For the first time in a very long time the other day I did a night shoot. Sometimes I love to shoot by myself, it’s a great opportunity to give my head a shake. Here are my two favourites.

So I’ve spent the majority of my summer working on this project called “Filmmakers” and I still have a LONG way to go with it. But I wanted to share an outtake from my shoot with the incredible DP Christopher Romeike. I’ll let everyone know more info about the project in the coming months.

Along with being a photographer I’m also a content producer at Fifth Ground Entertainment in Toronto. I’m incredibly lucky and privileged to work with 3 other vastly talented human beings. We’re developing a number of shows and we recently launched a brand new website to highlight all of our upcoming projects. On Thursday afternoon I shot some promos for the Team section of the site. Here they are (I’m the last one): For more info check us out here Fifth Ground Entertainment.

Over the past two week my great Aunts have been visiting from England. They’re quite obviously two of the sweetest women you’ll ever meet. Jean (pictured right below) was married to the late great Uncle Arthur (who by the way was made of nails) and Joyce (pictured third) was my late Grandmothers sister. Man do Joyce and my Grandmother ever look alike. It’s been so nice seeing them and getting to know them again. I had to shoot them before they flew back tomorrow afternoon.

This past week I had the pleasure of working with Michelle Nolden, star of “Numb3rs”, “Men With Brooms”, “ZOS”, “The Time Traveler’s Wife” and the upcoming film “Red”. Along with being an incredibly talented actress she’s also written and created her own series called “Slacker Moms”. More info about the project can be seen here at Fifth Ground Entertainment.
